Background, Challenges and Objectives

Proper disposal of waste
(1) By 2030, substantially increase the share of renewables in the global energy mix.
(2) By 2030, improve sustainability through improvements in infrastructure and industrial performance by employing resources more efficiently and expanding the use of “clean” and environmentally friendly industrial processes.
(3) By 2030, substantially reduce the amount of waste generated by preventing the generation of waste at the source, along with initiatives to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
