Water supply technology in Vietnam is generally underdeveloped, resulting in tap water that contains high levels of impurities and is unsuitable for drinking.
As a contribution to society, OH Charge Laboratory (OHCL) engages in developing water purification systems that can be used in all regions of the world, so that all people have access to safe, reliable, and good tasting water.
As a member of the Yokohama Water Business Association, OHCL participated in the Vietwater exhibition held in Vietnam to expand sales channels of their solutions that meet the needs of their customers in Vietnam. This has led to an installation of its water purification system in a food factory in Vietnam.

The Yokohama Water Business Association is an association established in November 2011 in collaboration with the City of Yokohama and local companies and organizations, in response to the growing need for water infrastructure in emerging countries and the country’s push for infrastructure system exports. Over 160 companies and organizations are now its members. The Yokohama Water Business Association helps member companies develop their overseas water business and revitalizes the city’s economy by utilizing the technological capabilities of local companies and making the most of its past expertise and international contributions to water and wastewater through cooperation with national organizations, private companies, and local governments.
Vietwater is an international exhibition held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where more than 250 companies and organizations from approximately 25 countries exhibit each year. More than 8,000 water and wastewater industry professionals from Vietnam and abroad gather to promote the evolution of the regional water and wastewater industry.
Through this event, OH Charge Laboratory signed an agency agreement with a Vietnamese company. Water quality varies considerably from region to region in Vietnam, so water purification systems are custom-made to suit each region. Thanks to the establishment of a local general agent, OHCL is now able to easily identify the regional water quality and the kind of products that are suitable for the area. There are expectations for further contribution to water problem in other areas of the country in the future.
